Pumpkins from Paint Can Lids...

Remember this post ?

Here are a few of the finished product ready for the soon-to-be-here craft show.

You can poke them in the ground coming up your walkway or in a nice, big Fall mum. I have been painting like crazy so I  have not bought a single mum yet.
So I stuck it in my neglected, unpruned boxwood. Yep. And if you look carefully you can see all the dead leaves that need to be raked. :)

  5. These are so cute. I would love to paint some for my grandchildren's yard. I looked online to find a place to buy some, but I could not find just lids, would you mind telling me where you found yours? My email is: slotmachinemimi@yahoo.com. Thanks, Susan (from Texas)

    1. Susan, I save my paint can lids but I also get them from the Sherwin Williams in my neighborhood. They get extra lids and will sell them to me :) Also, I think Home Depot and Lowe's have them for sale but SW has a better price. If you know a painter and ask them they will save them for you. A lot of painters buy extra paint cans to pour into from 5 gallon buckets but never use the lids.
      Good Luck!
